Internet Telephony & Collaboration

Unrivaled flexibility thanks to the use of the latest technologies

By using virtual PBX systems based on Voice over IP (VoIP for short) technologies, companies achieve maximum flexibility, mobility and transparency at optimized costs. We are familiar with the offerings on the local market, the available technologies and are able to identify the right solution for companies with 5 to 500 employees. Take advantage of Interscale’s independent expertise and secure all the resulting benefits.

Unified Communications

A unified communications solution combines corporate communications
tools that are often found on user desktops and mobile devices into a user-friendly and intuitive UCC platform. With unified communications, you create a consistent user experience across all devices and channels:

Media integration – audio, video or text functions and instant messaging.

Presence information – In cases of home office, several offices or even different locations, you can see at a glance whether someone is available.

Context integration – connection of the CRM or an ERP system with the UC client.

Collaboration functions – Collaboration functions that also enable desktop and file sharing.

Advantages of Real Time Communication (RTC)

Team Collaboration

With the increase in working from home, collaboration tools have become an indispensable tool for successful business communication. Various team messaging functions offer the ideal platform to make the flow of information in teams as simple as possible. Group users into departments, teams or projects to quickly and effectively collect ideas, exchange files or even dynamically start audio and video conferences with screen sharing.

Instant Messaging (IM)

The use of instant messaging with programs such as WhatsApp is already widespread in the private sphere. The business world is also developing more and more in this direction, so that a chat function plays a central role in fast and uncomplicated communication. Chat between employees and potential customers is also part of instant messaging. Better accessibility can lead to increased customer satisfaction.

Virtual telephone systems

As a company, you can now obtain your PBX as a web-based service from a provider. Apart from VoIP-capable handsets (SIP telephones), there is no longer any additional hardware to install. As before, you can receive calls via the normal desk sets or with a headset via PC. This type of cloud telephone system is becoming increasingly popular with Swiss companies.

The virtual telephone system has several advantages over the hardware PBX:

  • Low basic initial investment
  • Low hardware maintenance costs
  • Flexibility in the number of participants and therefore particularly suitable for companies with strong growth and scaling
  • Various flexible billing models
  • Simple relocation to new premises
  • Settings independent of location and editable online

What is a PBX system?

The term PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange. It refers to a private branch exchange, i.e. a telephone system that acts as a switching device connecting several end devices to each other and to the public telephone network.

Cloud PBX or Virtual PBX therefore describes a telephone system that is operated in the manufacturer’s data center and is accessible via the Internet.

PBXs are now increasingly implemented as software on standard hardware. These solutions can be easily integrated into other systems, e.g. with mobile telephony, video conferencing, collaboration, e.g. unified communication or instant messaging.
